In a few days Shelby and I will be leaving some of our chaos behind and traveling to Guatemala. This will be a short post as there are too many emotions for me to put into words at this moment. We ask for prayers of guidance and protection as we prepare, travel, and serve in a place that has become so dear to our hearts. Pray that we surrender daily that this trip is not about us, our agenda, or our own capacity to serve. Pray that we are able to do the work he sent us to do with grace and mercy, keeping our team safe and healthy while we shine God's light in another nation. Please also lift up our family and the boys, give Grandma patience and endurance as she cares for them while we are away.
